If you were lucky enough to have worked with Merv Tarde, or even known him, you were blessed indeed. Sadly, Merv lost his battle with cancer late in 2014 but is safe in the arms of his heavenly Father today. In honor of the example Merv set in the Technology Community, we are taking nominations for inductees into the Merv Tarde Values in Leadership Circle.
Merv was one of the very first supporters of the DFW Technology Prayer Breakfast and he was our friend. Merv served as the Vice President of Information Technology and Chief Information Officer with Interstate Batteries for 16 years. He modeled Servant Leadership and was a humble leader in the DFW Technology Industry where he served on a variety of Industry Boards and Advisory Councils. His love for others and obedience to GOD has set the standard that we all should aspire to follow.
The DFW Technology Prayer Breakfast committee decided to celebrate the example Merv set for us all and is seeking nominations for the Merv Tarde Values in Leadership Circle. Inductees will be announced at our annual Prayer Breakfast events at the Irving Convention Center. Here is a video from our first inductee ceremony in 2015.
More About the DFW Technology Prayer Breakfast
Our Mission is very simple: “To create relevant business environments for DFW Technology Professionals where a life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ is presented and nurtured.”
I believe that most people are searching for something more out of life but many are not sure what that is. That longing can only be filed through a personal relationship with GOD and His son Jesus Christ. Our Prayer Breakfast event creates a place for us to share just what that looks like in our personal and professional lives. Come join us!
DFW Technology Prayer Breakfast is where Technology and Faith Connect.
